- Flair: The goblin uprising is upon us

Progress is slow. Too slow. At this rate, we'll never break through. The ruins seem to be fighting back; Whenever the drill reaches the odd, rocky material the temple is made of, it lights up and becomes almost indestructible. Our actions must have reactivated some of the old defense mechanisms. Strange spirits attack us at night, destroying our supplies and petrifying our workers. We have not found a cure yet. It seems to be practically impossible to breach the temple's outer walls, but we won't give up.
Date: 27-4-201X
I'm not sure what we have done wrong, but something has definitely made the levitating creatures mad. Their eyes turned blue, and they started chasing after us. We have abandoned our drills and have fallen back to a nearby cave. We send out scouts to see if the creatures have calmed down, but none of them have returned. We fear the worst... In case we do not make it out alive, we decided to try and send some videos and images of this place. It is too fascinating to be left unnoticed.

It's working! Sort of...
It doesn't seem to be working...

We found an entrance that leads to deeper parts of the temple! Under normal circumstances this would have been great news, but for now it means that the levitating creatures might come in. They appear to be very afraid of fire, so the cave is relatively safe. Our technicians have managed to create a makeshift satellite, which should enable us to send clearer pictures of this place. The scout we sent out has managed to return, which is also good news. We might try to go outside again tomorrow, if things continue this way.
It doesn't seem to be working...
It's working!

At least we tried. The moment we went outside, we were attacked by 3 of those levitating things we've decided to call "Temple Protectors". However, the underground part of the temple is a nice change of scenery after the industrialized fields we have spent the past few months in. Since our fumes and other toxic waste haven't polluted the ground down here, there is much more vegetation than aboveground. However, after another attack from those Temple Protectors, we had to abandon our satellite. We've set up a small camp in what appears to be the heart of the temple. We're trying to map out this place, but its branching paths make it very hard to get a clear picture of how big this place is. For now, it seems we're stuck down here.[/center]
Date: 17-5-201X
Whoever (or whatever) built this temple over 5000 years ago is an absolute genius. They managed to build satellites and other technicall equipment that rivals our own. It is truly astounding. It's also much more structured than we initially thought it was; the temple seems to be seperated into three sections; we appear to be in the first section right now. We've decided to try and send some more images from down here, using the ancient satellite. One thing that worries us, however; the sun hasn't come up in the past 13 hours. Perhaps we have simply lost track of time, but our scientists claim their clocks are working fine
Looks like it's working!

Oh hey it's Natsu's aztec tileset.
Ideas are useless if you can't make them real.

I think that's intentional; all the images that don't work have captions that read "It doesn't seem to be working...".

Yeah, the non-existent ones all link to "eqwmoprwktqotj", with no ".PNG" or anything.

Updated the OP with a screenshot from the Solar Grotto, probably the largest area in the game.

Oh so it's like the Amazing Mirror? Good luck with that. When Darkonius, Mudkip and I tried to do that in Summer 2014, it failed spectacularly :P

Gee, thanks for the motivation :^)
But no, it's not like Amazing Mirror. The ruins are just really, really big.

The new screenshot contains 1x1 pixels :/ (if they're blur effects, pls forgive me about 1x1 pixels criticism)
the design and atmosphere looks nice and detailed. Good Job.

You're criticising screenshots which have been modified in paint.net to look more authentic? You do realise this is not how it looks like in the game, right? And even then, as long as it looks good, there shouldn't be an issue with it.
