Hello guys, so, I made my first level on SMBX and I want to see your opinion on it. Does it suck? Do you like it? I take constructive criticism for you. Anyways I will leave a link to a youtube video I made for the level and a download link if you want to play it.

At first I've say, that I like the Idea of using the PvZ Zombies, has kind of charme, even though there Sprites aren't the best. For the critisimn I, at first, have to say that it really plays like a Basic Mario Level from Gameplay and look of it. You don't need to use Blood if you don't want to but the Grassland section, really had Nothing Creepy about it.

It's a simple level but it's not bad. I think if you were able to rip the DS versions of the plants vs zombies sprites, the zombies would look a bit better with the style of the Mario graphics.
The only thing I would consider a negative is the boss fight. None of the spawning items are telegraphed that well, and the rinkas are *just* a bit too much. Compared to the rest of the level, the whole sequence is quite a difficulty spike.
I also don't understand the sudden focus on spinjumping about halfway through, especially when the first spinjump is across a very large gap. I think if you foreshadowed the spinjumping a bit earlier, it would mesh better.

Yes I know, the sprites weren't the great because 1 it was hard to find any plants vs zombies sprite and 2 because I didn't know how to make the npc have more frames and be bigger.

I loved the concept and textures, but the boss was too taugh and I was happy to have some checkpoints, but a good level

I appreciate how you did the sprites, and though it would have been hard to get any sprites since you coudn't find them, it's still pretty impressive you managed to put them in and look good at the same time. They also make sense as to what they're meant to be, for example, the bungee zombies replacing the thwomps.
