Why exactly does it need to look like an SNES game? Yes, if he's going for an SNES feel then those are a poor graphical choice, but since everything (except M&L probably, they should probably be edited) is in this style it looks interesting and rather unique. There's definitely nothing wrong with SNES styles, but there's nothing wrong with doing something else either so long as it looks good (and at the very least I say it does).

While the current graphics are more unique, that's not necessarily a good thing (and not in the context of an SNES game, I mean in general). They tend to rely on a large abundance of colors in the palette to the point that you'd be better off using a gradient tool rather than coloring in each pixel. Other than creating unnecessary work, this creates a host of problems like soft or plastic looking appearances instead of good textures, though that's been talked about to death before. The contrast within elements and between them is lowered as well, which makes it hard to pick out individual objects.

SMB3 is not perfect either, but it knows how to make clear distinctions between its parts. The background simulates an atmospheric perspective so that even if it uses the same essential colors as the foreground, the background can be easily interpreted as far away and won't interfere too much. Sednauir's backgrounds take this effect and reverse it, making them harder to tell apart from the foreground elements.

Sednauir's artwork is not all bad, but it does a lot of things without proper consideration and ends up paying the price for it.

In the meantime, I did some editing with 1F0 (glide blocks) and fixed an important bug:

You realize you can screenshot an entire section in PGE without having to piece together screens?
In an age of darkness light appears
And it wards away the ancient fears
March to the anthem of the heart
To a brand new day, a brand new start

He's using SMBX 1.3, so I don't think he'd know that.

No need entire section, even some selected area (by choice you have to export entire section or any selected area).

Since I started to use your editor I instantly fell in love with you... not really, but you should understand what I mean

I didn't knew that you could take a screenshot from a especific area :? thank you again (for some reason F12 doesn't work to take screenshots in my computer)

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.
