That is nice looking! The skulls in the fill are a bit spammy though.

They could be used to show where secrets are though in the screen they don't really have a purpose but they don't look bad. They could also be added as easter eggs as well.

The beginning part where you have to wait for the Snifit to shoot only plays on your first playthrough, later on it starts after everything's turned on so you can instantly start.

Who made that? The sizeable there serves no purpose, the SMB2 trees don't fit, and besides that there appears to be nothing going on to the right. Get rid of the waterfalls and inside fill arch there too. Otherwise the colors are pleasing.

I happen to completely disagree with you there, TLtimelord. I feel the aesthetic is very nice and the SMB2 trees fit perfectly.

There's nothing on or underneath the sizeable, nor does it lead to anything. I'm not entirely opposed to having the sizeable there myself, but currently it's a rather empty spot gameplay-wise. If it were placed a little higher it could be a nice resting place for a lotus perhaps.

The missing block where the player fell down definitely needs to be fixed though.

I would suggest at least moving the sizeable further left so a question block can be on top of it, or the sizeable can have a hammer bro on it, or something of the sort.

Also, just use the SMB3 bush instead of the smb2 trees. They'll go along just fine with smb3.

The SMB2 trees look completely fine IMO - they're even recolored.
It probably didn't work because it's a gifv. It's an awesome concept and looks nice too - looking forward to the release!

I would have passed over that sizable assuming it was decoration but since there's an actual discussion being had about it, maybe an invisible block for the people who notice it and are all "WHY TF IS THIS HERE" would be a happy surprise.
