Yeah. I had the same feeling. But i think it works neat with the background i have in mind. What colours would you suggest.

just tone down the saturation on the orange grass and it will look great.

I've tried making some graphics for Sednauir's SMW Rope tileset to become Conveyor Ropes like the unused objects in SMW, and here's the results:

The grass is rather iffy, the leaves aren't much better, but everything else is just amazing. Nice job!

You didn't remove any of the dithering tho.

Also, the shape looks super weird. The orange part looks like the body, but it's got ears (?) on it so???

Removed dithering, as you suggested, but it IMHO is now looking too metallic. Also fixed error with ear.

You should make the shading follow the shape of the outline. This way it looks like a crayon.

They say the oaks are too lofty and they grab up all the light, but the oaks can't help their feelings if they like the way they're made.

The animation is well done. The only flaw I see is it's looking at the fourth wall while walking. For me when it's walking to the left it should face to the left. You don't have to change it. It's just my opinion. I still adore it. :D

It was supposed to look like it's facing left, but if it looks too much like it's looking at the fourth wall I'll see what I can do. I think you thought that because of how the face is centered, but that's common practice when spriting characters like this one.

It looks better, but the brightest shade bothers me a bit. I think it should take up less space and follow the left outline. Try that and see if it looks more natural.
