After the shenanigans that happened please remember that none of the plans or rules have changed. I've seen a few instances of people showing and discussing their levels: please do not do so. This is strictly against the rules and despite what Enjl did all of the rules still apply

Lmao can't wait for you to lead it even further down the drain once you start enforcing dq's for rulebreaks.
Which would mean the rules changed tbh.
They were never intended to be followed with punishment.
Ideas are useless if you can't make them real.
All my assets from packs and episodes are free to use for non-Novaverse levels and projects, as long as proper credit is given.

What's the point of having rules if you don't have any consequences for breaking them. It really hasn't gone down the drain at all yet tbh. You just flipped out because not everyone's reviews were exactly in agreement with each other. That's literally the point of a judge panel: to have different opinions and viewpoints to provide feedback from a variety of perspectives which ends up levelling itself out in the end anyway. Just because you don't necessarily agree with this doesn't mean you should continue purposefully trashing this contest

Edit: God fucking damnit.

Enjl wrote:So yeah if you haven't heard I'm withdrawing my reviews.
Mivixion is a terrible host, the judge roster is somehow worse and any attempts I've made to save this forest fire have utterly failed in reducing how enthusiastically this event jumps down cliffs (getting a sane rubric that isn't based on marching bands, writing the thread and ruleset to minimize punishment for slipups, distributing non-broken versions of the levels to allow all levels to be judged fairly).
So I'm just gonna watch from a distance.
Please don't expect anything sane going into the results, everyone. Moderate expectations are already too high. Play the levels detached from what the judges will say and form your own opinions, because you might find your favourite level far down in the low ranks.
I mean I get why you're whitewashing the situation in a ditch effort to save it but by reducing my arguments to an easy to misunderstand sentence and lying to everyone won't accomplish anything.
I just feel bad for the levels at this point.

Well, this contest is certainly going down the drain.

It's not at all. Even if one person doesn't agree and wishes to have a negative impact on this we're not going to let that affect the overall outcome of this contest. We've got some hardworking judges finishing up their reviews now (most people are actually close if not done even if the list hasn't been updated) and there's been a lot of fun levels coming out of this contest.
Enjl will be Enjl and we can't control that but don't let him get you down. We're still going full speed ahead

There's like 5-7 fun levels.
Most are boring or dull. But there are some fun levels.
There's also a couple of levels that try but ultimately fail to be engaging

I never saw Enjl this salty since I made a SMBX2 fake announcement
The sad of all this is that my level, that I consider a piece of crap got higher than a lot of levels there in Enjl's reviews.

Because there are a bunch that are relatively dull.
Despite this there are, as Sanct said (but I'd say even more than that), a significant number of enjoyable levels

Know what saddens me? I thought that i had did a good job on my level, but it scored miserably in Enji's review.

5-7 out of 31 isn't exactly a "significant amount".
