wdym by "relay levels"?
Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

wdym by "relay levels"?
One level is designed by multiple people and is done in chains.
(e.g. somebody design ~2 screens of content, then sb else continues with another ~2 screens, etc.)
But I think Sanct would be much better at explaining that, so don't take my words for granted.

It is actually one 800x600 pixel screen of content added on to the previous person's screen. Once you acknowledge that is is your turn, you get 24 hours to make your screen and upload it on the thread publicly with this system:
but replace the URL with the link of the level. To avoid what I did last year as well as Imaynotbehereforlong did, we would also want to make sure all screens go in order with no branching paths. We also should have quality control afterward. Afterward, a name is decided on. Rednaxela could explain it WAY better than I could though. Last year, we had three relays. SMBX's, Talkhaus's, and one for MaFAB.

Say hello to all our lovely participants this time around!
All in all we gathered together 152 submissions for MAGLX3 and 24 submissions for MAFAB2.
Please see below if you're worried whether you made it in or not, and if you don't see your PREFERRED NAME YOU STATED despite submitting in time, please contact me immediately.
ALSO! Even IF you see your name down there, remember to frequently check the talkhaus throughout the coming weeks. Currently, Pyro and I are going through the levels to ensure they all work before sending them away, and I've already sent a dozen PMs regarding missing download links and unbeatable levels. Check yo PMs and fix yo level if you have one from me! Minor penalties are handed out for people whose levels remain broken, and levels we can't download cannot be included despite the names listed here :(
So that said, I hope the count of MAGLX3 doesn't shrink because someone forgot to check their PMs. Now without further ado...

Once the testing stage is done (coinciding with the judge build of SMBX2 that makes sure some of OUR (SMBX2 team)'s oversights don't cause any trouble), I'll send the levels to the judges, and then the waiting game deluxe begins!
The date at which judging properly starts will be hard to miss, too, so don't worry about that.
Ideas are useless if you can't make them real.

I hope that most levels are not an uphill struggle like last time.

Has the judging begun in the meantime?

As in, the PAL build. Judging is going on.

At first I felt proud of my level but now I'm starting to think it won't stand out. But still, excited for this

So, it's December, and still no results. I'm kind of surprised it's taking so long lol

The deadline to submit levels was back in June.

This is taking very long, can't at least a part of the results be released first, just like in MaGLX2?

Yes i know bumping old threads is bad, but some people here are really wondering if this is even still a thing.
All the News are here to read https://talkhaus.raocow.com/viewtopic.p ... 17#p445417
These are also pretty much from this month, but to read it you need to have an account on Talkhaus.
So for those who don't wanna do that, i just leave this screenshot of Sturgs post here. The post from him was made on 02 April this Year obviously!
OF course if there are problems, sharing this with people from this forum who aren't on Talkhaus i will remove any content of this.

So that explains why the whole thing is taking such a long time to finish. I hope waddle manages to finish his part on the judging and I'm excited to see how the hub would look like.
