Here was my speedrun of Mushroom Peaks, I managed to shave off some time, but with on death. Also one of the early screens has pseudo RNG if you want it to be optimal

This video uses a new route developed that has shaved off 20 seconds off the previous world record, made this level sub one minute and one of the hardest levels in Invasion 2 to speedrun. There's a lot of content to unpack here so let's go through everything

0:03 - Lost 1-2 frames since pipe entrance could have been more perfect
0:05 - 0:09 Here I spin fly because I want to do two things: I want to break the blocks and kill the koopa. Here I also have to avoid bouncing on the bottom brick and need to spindrill the koopa here by holding down. Moreover, I am cautious to not break the right wall since I am 80% sure that loses time.
0:10 - 0:11 Here is the first easy statue clip, however it's not all that easy. There are 4 ways the easy statue clip may pan out. One, you just get ejected out the wall. (Earlier Success) Two you clip less than a half block down. This is not possible since you will get damaged by the koopa due to being two high up. (Later Success) You will clip around 1.5 blocks, then need to turn around instantly since unstatuing is almost the time it takes for you to clip out left.
0:13 - 0:15 Here the enemy placements are heinously inconvenient for speedrunning. My goal was to go for a first cycle goomba that I achieved. Here you have to jump off the last few pixels of that block and double jump in a way to avoid the ripper and to spin while floating down to enter the mid two blocks there. If you don't you receive likely a two to three cycle goomba. Then you have to statue immediately to avoid damage. Next Part
0:16 - 0:20 Here you want to crouch clip where the goomba is, the inputs here make it really easy to slip out that crack. After crouch clipping you have to turn into a statue while holding down. If you don't you bounce on the buzzy beetle and clip through the ground and die. Then you do some timing and kill the Rex and block at the same time. Then you clip
0:30 - 0:32 Same logic as the statue clip before
0:50 - I did not realize the bullet was going to kill the red koopa, had I realized that I could have jumped earlier and received a smaller time
Besides that, this run was mostly just executing jumps and has 7 glitches or tricks used in the same level.

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

So you hold down and towards the direction of the wall. You input statue right before you hit the ground. depending on when you hit it you either clip a bit or a bit more.

The following glitch used basically combines the statue clip and the key clip. I did some testing around and this saves around 1-2 seconds of the previous record

i found a third way to key clip through a wall in the engine
so in essence i have a tanooki suit (a key or something) and i spinjump into the wall and turn into a statue. then i can clip through the wall
for some reason it doesnt work if i have too much vertical speed upwards or if im flying
so this makes the key clip easier by using it in tandem with another glitch and makes statue clipping a lot easier if you have one of these items

Shadow Cloak. (Increase running speed)
Hide Cape. (Easy enemy kill and smoother bricks breaking)
Suspicious Soda. (Increased horizontal speed while floating)

Run Highlights:
Go on the 3rd row of the bricks from the beginning for a smooth run through.
Jump on the '?' Blocks and bounce off the small Dino. (Method varies.)
Make a leap on the pipe, kill the piranha and kill the Dinos on the road. (You can also bounce off the big Dino.)
Jump on the turnable blocks, kill both the piranha and the Dino, jump on the highest brick and land on the '?' block. (Method varies)
Stay on top of the '?' blocks, spin jump at the last pixel of the big brick and bounce on the piranha plant. (Guauratee to land in front of the pipes.)
Charge and boost to destroy the bricks. (Used Hide Cape for extended range to make the process more smooth. Varies due to jumping position.)
Go between the piranha plants and make a big leap across the canyon. Duck jump to avoid being hit by the rocks.
Damage boost through the fire snake and boost using the bubble bottle.
Make sure that you don't get hit by the chuck near the edge. (You need him not to jump at the last second. May take a lot of attempts.)
Spin jump on top of the piranha, and bouncy off another one. (If you have less horizontal distance, kill the second piranha and jump on the pipe.)
Manoeuvre during falling and boost again using the bubble bottle.
Jump between the big Dinos and boost the third time using the bubble bottle.
Manoeuvre through the platforms without falling off. (May take some practice.)

Cool, the usage of wide cape is very neat. Good idea thinking about that. I wish I had more time to do runs but my classes this semester are extremely dificult.
