All runs require video evidence as it's not easy to confirm whether runs are valid or not.
Q: Why should I attempt speedrunning if I'm not good?
A: Don't go into speedrunning hoping to break someone's record right of the bat. Have fun with it and focus on improving your personal best and submitting it.
Q: How do you get that in-game timer that you and MECHDRAGON use in your speedrunning videos?
A: Have SMBX 2 Beta 3.0 installed, and ask MECHDRAGON to help you set it up. That's what UbuntuJackson did.
Q: Why should I join the server if I'm not planning on speedrunning?
A: It's always fun to strategize and discuss what a faster route can be. Also, it's exciting to see what the current runs come up with. Also any support to keep the speedrun scene of this game alive would help greatly.
Q: Why are you assuming I have these questions?
A: Because I am.
I really should think about trying to break those records. I was wondering why you were making the rankings at first, but I can see why now. There are multiple attempts to get people to speedrun levels and episodes. I think I became a mod on the site for that reason I think?
Welcome to the server Eclipsed, glad to see you can show people on here the world of SMBX speed-running.
PS. How do you get the thing where it shows what button you are pressing, as shown in your YouTube videos?
A re-timing sweep has entered smbx speedrunning that goes of follows
If time was previously/is reported to a second, .555 is added to your final time.
If time was previously/is reported to one decimal place, .055 is added to your final time.
If time was previously/is reported to two decimal places, .005 is added to your final time.
The reason for this is because based on the old timer there were iffy situations
12.24 could have been anywhere from a 12.235-12.245
Let's say you were using the 2 digit timer and got a time of 12.244 actually, but it's displayed as 12.24.
Now someone uses the 3 digit timer and got a time of 12.243, but on speedrun.com this person gets 2nd instead of first place which is not accurate.
Right now a new timer made by both MECHDRAGON and The08x375 is being developed which reports times to 3 digits.
Anyways here are the current Super Easy Road Tied World Records by me and MECHDRAGON.
Super Easy Road 14.335
Super Easy Road (With Powerups) 14.315
Note: Mechdragon's with powerups run is technically faster but due to not having 3 digits these are reported as tied currently.
I am a little against retiming since I would not know how. I think PixelPest's clock.lua just prints the time as 00:00:00.00 and just cuts off the last place. Since SMBX runs a frame per 015.6 seconds.
Here's an update on the timer situation: I was looking around and recognized the old timer was always ahead by around .3-.4 seconds. After discussing with The0x539, he got annoyed at me that I didn't understand what a tick was so I told the situation to MECHDRAGON. He went searching around and found out that the old 2 digit timer always started with 2 extra frames, so the new 3 digit timer is the accurate one.
Also, both MECHDRAGON and I will be taking a short hiatus/break from running Invasion 2 ILs.
Now it's time to move onto the Grassy Grass Grasslands world records. Just a few notes: Grassy Grass Grasslands without powerup is considered one of the hardest runs to do, because of the following:
In the first section you have to hold jump for the correct number of frames multiple times.
In the last section, there are 3 consecutive near frame perfect inputs, it's really hard. My time is .74 while Mech's is .668

I should point out that if you used the same timer on those runs, my 31.668 would be a 31.699.2 just because of PixelPest's Clock.lua not counting the first two ticks which a tick is 15.6 milliseconds. I have also not run any ILs besides Grassy Grass Grassland's powerless since February 27th which is when Eclipsed started going and trying to beat my runs. Due to a Hiatus agreement, that will have to stand temporarily.
Seija's emotion in the video shows how I feel as of that time as well.

You can have that run for now. Honestly, screw that run.

Floating Brick Niche is one of the most interesting levels how the world record route progressed for each category. We will probably find new routes but both MECHDRAGON and I are on hiatus.
This is absolutely one of my favorite levels to speedrun in the game, and it is quite enjoyable.
Floating Brick Niche Without Powerup
Route 1: Mechdragon developed a route that if you take the red koopa shell near the start it's much faster than using the buzzy beetle shell. I, then did it faster but I carried a springboard with me for no reason.
Route 2: Mechdragon then decided that if he carried the springboard and threw it down, he could bounce on it to save time. I, then did it faster.
Floating Brick Niche With Powerup
Route 1: I just flew with the blue boot to the first door to outside the first section
Route 2: Mechdragon noticed that I didn't take the red shell like the without powerup route so he decided to do that without the blue shoe.
Route 3: I flew with the blue boot below the noteblocks and did a clip into the door I was supposed to enter
Route 4: Mechdragon decided to fly under the stage with the leaf and enter the 2nd door that way. I then did it faster.
Floating Brick Niche Star With Powerup
Route 1: Mechdragon developed a method with a leaf to get the red koopa shell and preceded to do this order: 1, 2, 3, enclosure.
Route 2: I made 3 improvements to the route. I noticed that it was easier to avoid all the noteblocks without a leaf and with using a spring. I also found out that 2, 3, 1, enclosure was faster so I developed ideal ways to throw shells in that order. I also noticed that Mechdragon took up generator space so I bounced on one of the buzzy beetle shells instead.
While, on hiatus, I decided to tackle levels that were not played in a while, and after a few runs I beat Pixelpest's 2 year old world record on just a level for tips by one frame.
Here are the improvements to the route that I made:
-I decided to run on the 45 degree downwards slope at the beggining
-In the section where there was goomba goomba koopa, I decided to jump in the middle of the goomba and the koopa and run down the longer slope instead of the shorter one in Pixelpest's run.
Current Dungeon of Pain World Records both by Eclipsed
Dungeon of Pain is my favorite level to speedrun in world 1, so that being said here are the most fun to least fun levels in world 1 to speedrun according to my opinion.

Maybe you should start putting the videos in spoilers so they do not lag out web browsers? Why the list of levels, and if you update the "score rankings", why not also update them in the Original Post?
