It's honestly really fun and satisfying to complete old tricks and figure out new tricks.

I think you mean "spite" and no, that's completely untrue. And just because your likes don't align with others doesn't mean their ideas are "meepyglobix" which I feel like I'm insulted by despite having no idea what it means

I just censor things out by making up words.

I hate it when people just stack munchers on top of eaco other, it just looks so unprofessional! Why not hame a custom sprite, like the spike from Super Mario Maker?

Also, I don't really think kaizo levels look that fun to me. If you were an expert, you would probably enjoy them more, but otherwise, I don't really see the appeal!

How about the fact that kaizo level design is rooted in trial-and-error game-play, which is inherently frustrating and would not be allowed in any professional video game? Even games like Super Meat Boy generally do a good job of conveying their hazards and having some room for error; kaizo, on the other hand, requires such precision, memorization, and repetition for such a long amount of time that even those who try to defend it believe that they require save-states: https://bravesword.wordpress.com/2011/0 ... a-bad-rap/
I've decided to cancel SMBXville Under Seige. After my 1st Senior year of college, I realized I wouldn't have enough time to devote to finishing my four-level episode. Apologies to those who cared.

Aren't kaizo levels just a clusterfuck of hazards and frustration? Imo, it's just a way of artificially increasing difficulty (Pixel Perfect Jumps) with the use of cheap death tactics.

Although I've got nothing against Kaizo levels, I do find them fun, to an extent.

That's exactly what I mean. Kaizo levels are just so darn' unforgiving that it's really hard for anyone except super experts to get some enjoyment out of them!

And what's wrong with that? It's like saying, "All of these children are too short to go on this roller coaster so we'll have to take it out"

There's nothing wrong with that, I just don't really see the appeal over hard-but-fair traditional levels!

People just like the undoubtedly large difficulty and satisfaction of completing these kind of levels, even if it requires using save states or all of their rage. I don't really see how people having different ways of enjoying a game is a problem. I personally don't enjoy playing them due to the fact that I am not very good at Mario games, but I can see why others would want to try and play these kinds of levels.

Not all kaizo is designed around savestates. There's good and bad kaizo just like there's good and bad normal levels as well. The way it's implemented is the important part.

I guess people who made Kaizo theme levels wanted the players to ended up being in a mental hospital?

Probably the satisfaction of completing them gave kaizo levels their popularity. Well, I never found them fun, since many are entirely based on trial and error

It makes me ragequit tho, I played Kaizo Mario World 3. I've enter to Level 1, a pokey comes out of nowhere. I hate getting a gameover.
