Nintendo makes complex items, people make complex level.
People can't handle complex items, they make it is simpler by not using it.
People have ill intention making complex levels, they just use the complexity to create a bunch of abomination.

Be constructive towards the game, share suspicions that aren't blatantly disprovable, cast lynch votes that aren't just a bandwagon vote with no explanation (we're all guilty of this one), ask people questions about their thoughts on things.

You don't want to post super often, but when you do post you want it to have content and not just fluff. Don't be afraid to share your thoughts, but also use your brain before you throw suspicions out there. I say this because we mislynched Taycamgame last game because he threw out a suspicion against me that literally made no sense in the context of the game. If he hadn't committed that brain fart, we would've been more likely to lynch one of the actual bad guys that day and not just a townie who didn't think before they spoke.

Active dislike features encourage spiteful ratings and negativity.

If you are a young child (like in your pre-teen years), then it is an unreasonable expectation for them to be able to accept constructive criticism, let alone not knowing why their level got dislikes.

Seeing your first level get dislikes is demoralising, and can put one off from making levels in the future, which would have the effect of reducing the total number of levels, which would not look good when such stats are posted (although it probably won't be by much, so that might not be a big problem, the the problem of demoralisation still exists).

(I'd say 9 year olds have nothing to lose in such an environment, whether there's a dislike button or not)

anyway the influence of dislike trolling and abuse is far far higher than say on Youtube (where likes do outweigh some troll dislikes by far)
