My favorite Mario RPG is.. uh, I haven't tried Paper Mario 64 yet but I may play this game sometime if I have a better emulator than Project64 (Because while I was playing Yoshi's Story on this emulator, when I jump into the warp vase and then the emulator crash) . I've played Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga and I thought it was a good game tbh, I don't know what should I do at the Toad part because Toad isn't moving and I should have known that it was controlled by the player omg.
I rarely come here cus I preferred to be in Discord and anything outside of being in the forums.
Most people here don't assume my gender, feel free to use "they" and "them" as long as it doesn't refer to many people or something. But I'm of course a girl.
yes i have g+ except its gonna get shut down soon rip
Sticker Star is a good game that people hated for being different. If you look at most let's plays people are actually enjoying the game. It may not be the best game but people need to stop comparing it to TTYD (I actually think this game is very overrated). Also this is why I hate game reviews or any reviews is general they are biased and they give people opinions that originate with some stupid numbers. Try try game don't look at a let's play and don't look at review numbers play the game you will probably like it and if you don't like it
as a game I'm fine with that. I understand people being disappointed for about a week about it but people went on for weeks about thier hatred for this game. Just give the game a chance. Watch th video the guy is pretty fair watch this video for a fair comparison.

I never watch reviews so that might be it, i rather build up my own opinion instead of listening to some puppet on youtube saying how good/bad the game and then most people follow this person instead of making their own mind and opinion about it.
So apparently a lot of people tend to think Partners in Time is the darkest instalment in the M&L series, with the whole alien invasion and innocent Toads being used as fuel for the Shroobs, thus turning them into lifeless mushrooms, but to be honest, nobody has mentioned that Dream Team gets pretty dark as well if you look at it in hindsight, if not darker than PiT.
If you think about it, before this game came out, Bowser was little more than comic relief, and he was even playable in the preceding game. If you look at his dialogue you'll at least crack up once, but Dream Team returns him to his roots as a genuinely evil villain, and a good job of it is done as well. He actually wanted to kidnap Peach after being on the sidelines for so long, he was now an insane, cruel, merciless villain. At one point towards the end of the game you have to go inside Bowser's dream, all the while some really disturbing music plays in the background:
One of the most eerie soundtracks in the game, or possibly the Mario series in general, it made me put the game down for a few months, with notes seemingly being played in reverse and the whole-tone scales providing a sense of unease, while the tonality provides an air of sadness. Which fits, because not only are you at the end of the game, but it fits Bowser's mind perfectly. In BiS, he was a comic relief character who had a good side, as the cake showed in the ending and how he reacted to it, which makes us feel like he actually felt happy with it and appreciated the help of the brothers. Assuming Dream Team took place after BiS, he fell back into his dark ways again, and all the remaining good left in his heart was gone. Look at it; in Superstar Saga, he actually wants to do good for once but gets possessed by Cackletta. In Partners in Time he's not even all that evil, in BiS he is an anti-hero, and now he's basically the big bad guy, which extended into Paper Jam, to the point where he's actually become more and more evil throughout the games. It's kinda sad in some way, considering that when he finally wants to do good stuff for once he gets pushed out of the way, and now it's caused him to become like this. That's incredibly dark for a Mario game, even moreso in this series which is known for its humour.
There's also this:
It may not sound scary at first, but in the context it's being played in it gets ramped up. At this point in the game, Mario's stuck in the dream world, and the entirety of Pi'illo Island has fallen asleep, so you could say that this is the closest the villains have ever got to victory if Mario hadn't defeated Dreamy Mount Pajamaja and unsealed the portal. The fact that it's an icy mountain doesn't help matters either, rather it would probably make it harder for Mario to reopen the dream portal. The worst thing is that if Dreamy Mount Pajamaja happened to kill Mario (which is highly likely considering its size) then Pi'illo Island would be doomed. That's also disturbing in itself because the Mario series could have likely ended at that point.
