vines?

vines?

so i put a vine in a box but it doesnt do anything.. how do i get vines to work?

You have to use the vine heads in order to actually work, not the vines themselfes.

ahh ya i started playing a level and there was a vine straight away and i decided to look at it in the editor. i just came to delete the post but you were too quick..im gonna leave it here cuz search came up with nothing.

Can you elaborate on what the vine heads are and how to use them? I tried using the vine head as you mentioned, but I'm not sure where to put it to make the vine grow upwards when Mario hits the vine block. Thank you in advance, loving PGE Editor, thanks everyone for making this happen.

A vine head looks like the head of a Phranha Plant, but green. I'm not sure about this, but it probably either goes on top of the vine in the block, or just it inside of the block.

You select either the read or green vine "head" (circular NPC with teeth) as the contents of the block

Use the SMB3 Vine Heads because the others don't work unless you use Custom GFX.
