Re: Community Poll Topic

What I love about the direction this community is going in is that it seems busier. There just seem to be more interesting things going on than Knux's forum in 2012-2013. There's always some contest or event going on, there's always seem to be insane Mafia games, and whenever the RP threads go onlin...

Re: SM3DW Clear Pipes Tileset

Could you start an event, triggered by when Mario enters the pipe, that triggers an animated BGO of Mario traveling in the clear pipe, and have that BGO overlayed on top of the clear pipes?

Not sure if this thread has been posted here before, but I'm honestly too lazu to page through it and find out. Have you ever experienced designer's block, where you don't know a good theme or gimmick or level designing aspect for your level? Well this is the place to posy ideas about theming, speci...

Re: Level tutoring?

I actually think videos would be a fun idea. I don't know who eould be down to it but I could see many ppl taking part in making a video series on level design tutorials :p Yeh bossedit8, make a video with commentary for this <3 If he does, then no-one will understand him except for people that can...

Re: fake SMBX?

THe one screenshot they have of the demo on the site I know was a project being worked on by a user called Mr. Game and Watch, but I don't know if that's his site for not... I highly doubt it, that site looks pretty shady. I know he was working on his own engine, but he kinda disappeared, so I don't...

What about that episode called Sea Side Adventure which was by Legend-tony980? It has 20 worlds and more than 400 levels.
Was it ever finished?

My point exactly

Re: Shadow of More Doors

I liked it, the twist at the end was pretty unexpected, overall I kinda thought it was like a summary of a,story, like one you would tell a friend to read and they ask you what its about. I really liked it, but there certainly some places for expansion, most notably the character of Ninety Nye and w...

Re: Level tutoring?

not everyone has the time or patience, mostly because the newbies are 10 year olds who barely understand things. It would only be between someone who wants to help and somebody who wants help, people that already assume their levels are perfect would not use this service. Now I have no idea how som...

Level tutoring?

Here's an idea: we could institute a system where some of the more successful level designers work one-on-one with users that are not satisfied with their designing capabilities/ want to make better levels. There'd be an application process for both tutors and protégées, and then the tutors would ma...

Greek Life

For those of us that attend college/ universities, are any of you involved in Greek life, e.g. fraternities/sororities? I'm actually considering rushing one of the fraternities at my school, and honestly a lot of the guys involved in Greek life here seem to contradict the image of frats in movies. T...
