Re: Unpopular Opinions/Free Speech Topic

The stereotypical Christian is probably an middle aged American person who brings God and Jesus and the Bible into literally everything, even politics.

The stereotypical Christian Priest, however, is the Catholic type ones, I'd say.

Re: e3 hype thread

Well, Metroid is looking pretty dead. Unless an actually Metroid game is annouced for Wii U, it looks like Other M is the game that killed Metroid.

Also Paper Jam is what. No one asked for it, because nobody would have such an idea outside of fanfiction. Until now, I guess.

Re: [THEORY] Is Mario the bad guy?

In Paper Mario 2, the ultimate final bad gal is all 'join me and stuff'. Since Mario doesn't join them, he's probably okay.

In Super Mario Galaxy, Bowser tries to destroy the universe or something. It's not very clear. He's probably a jerk. Also there's the whole Mario Sunshine thing.

Re: Mafia Discussion

The problem is that 'randomly lynch the people' isn't a attractive strategy for the town since mis-lynching is basically a loss. ironically I have an idea of who to lynch, but can't say it. Really, this comes down to no one realizing the Saboteur was fundamentally broken as a role until it was too ...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Night 6)

Inactives aren't going to send you their role PM, and considering there are quite a few of them, the risk of requesting role PMs decreases. Except by the time TNT requested role PMs, the number of inactives had reached the point where there no longer provide a large enough buffer. HenryRichards is ...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Night 6)

Having given it some thought, TNT probably isn't the Saboteur. The PM thing simply wouldn't work. If TNT was Saboteur, it would go like this: 1. Get all the PMs. 2. Say person X didn't PM even though they did. 3. X claims that TNT is a lying liar who lies. 4. X is lynched, or goto 6. 5. X flips not ...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Night 6)

Having crunched the numbers, it seems like the Saboteur can't win if TNT is telling the truth about who send him PMs. We can lynch people way faster than he can blow them up, and there are only three choices to choose from.

I know I'm not a bomber, so who is?

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Day 5)

Basically TNT was attempting to use the fact that the role PMs weren't posted to find the Saboteur. This is generally frowned upon, and is also against the forum rules! Anyway we might as well kill lurkers at this point since we have very little to go on. Ideally*, the Saboteur would be killing peop...

Re: Unpopular Opinions/Free Speech Topic

I am of the opinion that Steam does not have the right to remove games that disagree with the platform's political ideology, as tasteless and daring the game may be. The statement Skaldic Games made in response to the takedown raises a lot of points and highlights how sensitive we are with politica...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Night 4)

All of the blues are dead! And probably all the mafia as well. If the Mafia are all dead, things are about to get really boring. I'm fairly sure, based on my reading of the Saboteur role, that there won't be another explosion before N7. At this point we may want to start lynching the lurkers. HenryR...

The role is describe in the first post of the thread. Notably, it says that moving a mine resets the timer. If glitch4 is the Saboteur, and he targeted Pseudo-dino, the mine won't be on anyone else.

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Day 3)

I am taking Pseudo's information he posted earlier with a grain of salt, if it's true that glitch4 visited me, and from the information I got from the Lookout, he visited Pseudo, that means if I die this coming Night, it's most likely that glitch4 is the Saboteur, and you guys should maybe lynch hi...

Re: Unpopular Opinions/Free Speech Topic

Nuclear power is pretty good, and if you disagree you don't understand. People who voted against Instant Runoff Voting were dumb and lame. Killing people doesn't solve problems. Super Mario World is a better game than Super Mario Brothers 3. Discrimination is still around and it's still pretty bad. ...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Day 3)

First up, there's a consensus that Pseudo-dino is dodgy. Secondly, glitch4 is pretty much a cypher. We know he's doing something , we just don't know what. Really all he's proving is that thread activity isn't an indicator of power activity. If he is the Saboteur, and he's bombing Pseudo-dino, we mi...

Re: M20: The Ladder of Success (Day 2)

I must of missed that. It looks to be a last chance 'oh man don't lynch me' from a Mafia, since thread activity and power activity don't always match.
