Version 1.2 is out!

This update includes misc. bug fixes and difficulty re-balancing for much of the late game. It also switches the last level of world 4 with the last level of world 5.

I'm curious: are the "broken Lua" levels like that due to poor programming on the level creator's part, or is it because Lua updates made the code obsolete? If the former is true, I don't see why the levels aren't released as is (I don't think any of the previous CCs made efforts to fix levels). If ...

I've no problem with it except in the case of its accuracy to the original consoles. ... That's really strange; I remember that I only got this error when using specific versions of LunaDLL.

SMBX+LunaLua (aka SMBX 2.0) is a more stable engine, and it's backwards compatible with the vast majority of SMBX 1.3 levels. Try using that version.

This is usually a problem with audio codecs. If you have CCCP installed, open it and uncheck "enable mixing." If you have another audio codec, like FFDShow for example, there should be a way to add SMBX to an exceptions list.

Also, give the normal Goomba/Koopa/shell noblockcollision=1 and nohurt=1 so it will fall off screen when the Para-Goomba/Para-Koopa is stomped (and so you won't risk the player unfairly taking damage). Sprite-swapping the normal Goomba/Koopa/shell to simulate an effect sprite is optional.
