here are your choices either use the one with the more features either create your own smbx from the ground up ( use gamemaker studios its easier or whatever you think would be easier to do so) or wait for mario multiverse to be released and you can use that but realistically LEARN AND CREATE YOUR O...

id think it is cause i once asked if a super metroid type game was possible to make using the smbx engine and i got a yes so by that logic something like say castlevania aria of sorrow could be made in it too tho thats an example cause in that game you can level up and such as per rpg elements

people can use smbx2 without coding, though? everything 1.3.0.1 is compatible with smbx2, so nothing stops you from using smbx2 merely for its new out-of-the-box additions. not every user of paint.net writes paint.net plugins, either. i could but coding is where the extra good stuff are if you know...
