Well...

In all seriousness, Luigi has been added, along with some optional p-speed animations.

I got a question for what's next for the "Accurate SMW Player sprites":

If you're making Luigi, are you gonna use the Mario recolor, or the All-Stars version?
I plan on doing the all-star version.

Ohh, can you do Luigi, too? Then, if you don't mind, I would like to replace the current costume with this (crediting you of course).
Doing that when I already have Mario done as a base seems fairly easy, I'll probably begin on that whenever I can.

Accurate SMW Mario & Luigi Costumes (for X2)

Note: this is included by default since SMBX2 beta 4 patch 2, as "SMW-Mario" and "SMW-Luigi" Hey all, this is my first costume. It's a more accurate version of the SMW costumes in the basegame, including lua to implement things like frames for kicking items and a more accurate walk cycle. https://c...

Re: Luigi's Fight for the Lost Island (Join the team today!)

I really enjoyed this demo! The surprise in the tree area was truly shocking to me, and the level design was great. I also notice you took some inspiration from my level for level 2... Jokes aside, great work so far! Also, I feel like I may have what the Elder Thwomp was speaking of (;

They do reset now. Also, layers don't have a position.

That's odd... however, as I said, I haven't been able to recreate this. Could you provide a small sample level to showcase this bug?

Re: rooms.lua - Quick respawn & Celeste-styled rooms (v1.2 update)

There seems to still be an issue with the water in the 1.2 build. When I'm testing levels, the first (but only the first) chunk of water always disappears on respawn (although I wouldn't put it past myself to have messed something up on my own) Can you share some more info? That sounds very odd, an...

Doesn't look like an error with the custom NPCs, but looks like a problem with the save file.

Re: Boomerang Suit?

2.0 Beta 4 at the moment Okay, though without replacing another one it's NOT possible at the moment. Even if it may not be possible to truly add new powerups, it is possible to create the illusion of new powerups at the moment. Regardless, it's not exactly easy at the moment. Personally, I'd wait f...

i'm not asking 4 the waves. I could easily just have slopes moving on layers. The poundable goop is what i'm asking for!
That is what I was talking about. You'd still probably need the systems I mentioned.

Re: NSMBDS Goop (Request)

It'd be nearly impossible to create it in the same way it appears in the original game (creating solid waves) as SMBX's collision system doesn't naturally allow for complex shapes like that. I'm talking about the ground-poundable variant. it could work like diggable sand, but instead, it curves dow...

Re: rooms.lua - Quick respawn & Celeste-styled rooms (v1.2 update)

v1.2 is out! Now, finally, layers and timed events reset! There were also some smaller updates and additions, so here's another incomplete list of them: Timed events, layers, BGOs, water/quicksand, and warps all now reset properly A few additional options were added A new respawn effect was added, "...

Re: rooms.lua - Quick respawn & Celeste-styled rooms (v1.1.1 update)

I love the quick respawn feature! It's great to create Kaizo-like levels! :D However, some things don't reset. Quick respawn does not reset unlocked doors, blocks moved with an event and Event-timers don't work properly. When I make an event activate another event in 3 seconds and die after 2 secon...

Gimmick 1b: Quote contest, design a level around a specific given quote by the organizators (like in Maglx3, you'll be able to choose). Examples would be "The wind blows harder the more you move against it" or "Your reflection shows your darkest colors". I really like this one, there's some many po...

Re: rooms.lua - Quick respawn & Celeste-styled rooms (v1.1 update)

Version 1.1 has been released, and there's been a ton of under the hood changes (the entire respawn reset system has been overhauled, meaning a bunch of jank has been fixed), but there a few changes that'll hopefully help the people using this. Here's a little "change log", even if it is by no means...
