Gotta try using more "Captainn", "Murder" instead of Wariotime and "Getdown' in case I am stuck using "Shadowstar".

I think what they mean is just that half the people submitted levels that have coherent ideas they develop throughout the level (one of the expectations for slam submissions and an easy way to make a level coherent in general). I mean, that's almost half of the levels people submitted. I don't know if SLAM is the right word, they are just horizontal gimmicky levels like I would see in SLAM.

I think they only work for background to background. A BGO marked with foreground in Z-layer will be in front of another BGO marked with background.
