I know, we'll have to go through external sites, which stinks.

I actually like Mech's, it's really smooth.
What is your avatar of? I can see "L is real 2041", but what is the rest?

checked, and all of them are .gif's. SMBX 1.3.0.1 EDIT: Two of them were PNGs. They were corrected into GIFs, but it still doesn't work... EDIT2: I deleted a GIF image that i edited today and it worked. I wonder why was THIS https://s9.postimg.org/3wsu3m0j3/npc-196.gif an invalid image? Well, right...

Re: Cool profile avatar

I USED to have a cool profile avatar of Donkey Kong Jr. in SNES 16-bit style. But I changed it due to many community members mistaken my avatar to be Cranky Kong. Did you make your current Mario picture yourself? Yeah, I use the SMB2 USA Mario sprite as base , and design it in Sega Genesis s...

Cool profile avatar

Which users have you seen that have cool avatars? Also, explain what your avatar is here.
As for me, I'm sporting a Golden POW block that I will show off in an episode later. Can you imagine its sound effect? PLOING (Somewhere between a coin and POW SFX)

Re: 1-Dimensional Screens

Not physically possible as a screen has two dimensions. In one dimension you only have a single axis. You could argue that a line of pixels is 1D and positioned and moving along a single axis, however the fact that it is however many pixels by 1px makes it 2D, therefore your "moving dots" wouldn't ...

Re: Unofficial Music Forum

This is the first good SMW rock music I've ever heard: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/83591 I feel like this could do good for an introductory level to a lava/fire world. Also, this is my favorite song out of, well, basically everything: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/569125 If you...

Yes, that was my intention. But if there's already a music thread, then I don't see much purpose for this to exist.

Re: "Styled" and "recolored" graphics - what's the difference?

After a graphic is restyled, how is it even what it used to be anymore, except for what type of thing it is? What I mean is, how is a SMB3 restyled SMW pipe even SMW anymore? It isn't similar to it at all at this point. Restyled is also more often "reshaded". So, if you have for exmaple an SMW rest...

Unofficial Music Forum

So, I realized that this website still needs something: a music forum. I don't feel like asking the website people to make one, so I took it into my own hands to make a place where people can post music freely. NOTE: Remember that as of now, 2.0 Beta 3, we need to use .ogg files. Just a reminder. Th...

1-Dimensional Screens

What would it be like to have a 1-Dimensional screen? Well, it would just be a line of pixels. A long, long line of pixels. What could we do on this? Well, practically nothing. Unless you want to play Moving Dots. Wait, maybe there's some potential in this. If we can represent 3D objects in a 2D scr...

Re: Need help with lua? - LunaLua General Help

I just want to change the kind of bullet ludwig throws from fire to hammer, but I'm too dumb to figure it out <:c Would someone be kind enough to tell me what code would do that? You could maybe kill the fireball once it spawns and spawn in a hammer. I don't know how to do that though, sorry. Sorry...

Re: Need help with lua? - LunaLua General Help

Ok, onInputUpdate worked. My file is called lunadll (.lua) and yes I can see the printed text. But now I have another problem: function onInputUpdate() if player.jumpKeyPressing then if player.downKeyPressing then if player:mem(0x146, FIELD_WORD) == 1 then Text.print("YES",64,64) player.speedY = -30...

Re: Need help with lua? - LunaLua General Help

It doesn't work when I try to set the player's speedY value. function onKeyDown(keycode) if keycode == KEY_JUMP then if player.downKeyPressing then Text.print("YES",64,64) player.speedY = -30 end end end What file do you have this in? Also btw -30 is going to shoot the player upwards It's .lua. Als...
