Re: Music Discussion Thread

Seriously pumped for the new series for a few reasons. Not much of a fan of the Link mechanic itself, because it's can be easily abused, but the Arc-V trash is done and gone and everything so far for Vrains looks amazing. Then there's the opening soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJBljopAe...

Don't remember if I gave this a preview before or not, but here's a little bit of SMB1 stuff I was working on a while ago

Re: Unreleased Games That Interest You.

Gimmick! also known as "Mr. Gimmick!" for the NES. It was produced by Sunsoft towards the end of the NES's lifespan and was a game that really showed just what the NES was capable of, however, sadly it was only ever released in Japan and some European countries. One of the most famous things about t...

Re: Squishy Rex's CGFX Pack v1.8

Well, it's been a while... a long while, but since I have a free few minutes, I better make a brief summary of what's going on with the updates to this pack. Turns out I don't have much time to work on this anymore, or at least as much as I used to, however, I will be still adding to the pack every ...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

Eh, we've had our fair share of extremities with weather in the last week and a bit in the form of a cyclone, so I don't have much access to internet at the moment.

Re: Super Mario Bros X. Greendan Edition (SMBX-38A) Update: March 15th, 2017

I have to be honest here, I've seen a lot of projects and episodes over the years where they've used NSMB series graphics but also used classic 8-bit mediums and they have looked pretty horrible. This however, actually looks decent. Throughout the entirety of the levels you've shown, each conforms t...

I never actually thought of making them FGOs, a simple but effective idea. Nice to see you're back again too, and I'll have a look through my level folders. I think I still have Star Mountain.

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

I'm not sure why folders are being moved into weird places, unless someone is messing with our uploads again. The search function is pretty useless with OneDrive as you've found, probably best to not bother with it. I'll get online tonight and try and get a few things fixed up. Thanks for the nitpi...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

Well, I'll just go ahead on BGOs so I don't waste a perfectly good weekend. I'll leave the backgrounds to Murphmario so he can decide whether they should be sorted by theme or time of day. Also, what graphics and graphics packs do you guys want to see in the cloud next? I'd say yes to this, if we'r...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

That can entirely be blamed on me. I tried reuploading the folders once they were deleted, but I made the mistake of uploading the entire folders instead of one at a time, and the uploader couldn't handle the amount. I might try again one piece at a time. Oh that's what happened? You can upload fol...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

There's really no reason to make a separate folder for 1.3 NPCs seeing as how both types of folders are the same files. Plus, I've been working on some of the 1.3 npcs in the folder. Sorry. I did that because 1.3 NPC PNGs are both compatible with 1.4 and 2.0, so that there wouldn't have to be dupli...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

I've noticed something now with the new structuring of folders based on themes. It is actually making it a lot easier to spot doubled-up graphics after each upload session. I'm definitely going to continue with this addition structuring across the rest of the pack, though this may take a little bit ...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

I think that within the folders (level, BGO, background etc.) we should organise graphics by theme. You could have a folder for grassland tiles, castle tiles, cave tiles, basically anything that a lot of people have made graphics for. You could also have an 'other' folder for all the graphics that ...

Thanks guys and gals, glad you like them. Next is a creature which is more of a remaster. I originally drew this thing about 5-6 years ago, but I thought it might be time to do a comparison and see how my skills have changed over the last few years. Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

I've had a look at what's going on here. It looks like someone has decided to undo some of our hard work. There is a lot of stuff missing again, but because I have all of the content still on my computer, it just has to re-uploaded again. We are looking at finding a better way to have this pack onli...

Very gud graphics! It will be cool if there is another update. There will be another update, not sure when at this point, but it come at some point (this year hopefully). I've missed a few weekly updates, mainly due to real life stuff. But as some of you will have seen, I've nuked my MFGG account c...

Maybe, it would make sense to. I have some other stuff I'm working on right now, but it could be done.
