Re: Biggest Fears

I used to be terrified of insects. Now, I just find them mildly annoying (the invasive ones that is). Cockroaches also haven't been a problem for me ever since I moved out.

Any day for a blog post sounds perfectly fine to me. Can't wait to see what it'll be about.

I fear responsibilities, and having a cozy rainy day being ruined by thunderstorms.

Re: Custom Starry Hills + Lake Background

there's a reason you don't see moons in backgrounds. if you separate the layers, this could be used properly with an API like parallaX (I think it's called) I see what you mean. I'll release a version that uses LunaLua if enough people want it. For now, I think the moon loops decently enough as lon...

Custom Starry Hills + Lake Background

One of the backgrounds I used for my "Blue Moon World" levels. I'm really proud of how this one turned out.

Re: Do you feel the forums have changed you?

As someone who loves creating in general, it helped me gain motivation to make levels, but that's about it. I don't think I've participated in enough activies in this community for me to grow some real attachment to it. Maybe that'll change when I stop being lazy and actually start contributing.

Re: (Hotel mario) Spiny npc

I love the fact that you ripped a sprite from a game that you consider a failure and applied it to an NPC, lol

Anyway, I don't think I've ever seen that Spiny in any Hotel Mario spritesheets before. Guess it's just an obscure enemy that not many people looked into...

Ice Flower is cheap and overpowered. Therefore, I love it.

Also, your Legacy Editor may or may not crash if you attempt to save a world map you made with the PGE Editor.

Re: What smbx feature have you always wanted.

I hope that we get a working sorting priority system soon enough. It sucks whenever you wanna make a hill emerge from the ground, but then a chunk of the moving blocks just overlaps the foreground blocks during transition. You mean with events and stuff? Yeah, that's what I meant. You can kind of f...

Sonic CD (both versions), Need for Speed III, Touhou: Imperishable Night, Tekken 5, Street Fighter EX2, and SmackDown vs. RAW 2007 have some of my favorite soundtracks ever.

Shokugeki no Souma's second opening was hype as fuck.

I also have some really, really strong nostalgia for the opening of the original Dragon Ball.

Re: Are you good at making SMBX levels?

I haven't posted a level yet myself, but based on my self-evaluation... I think I am pretty okay at least. I take forever to finish levels though, and I have the tendency to be too ambitious with my level designs to the point where I have no idea what the hell I want to make. (I tend to scrap concep...

Re: What smbx feature have you always wanted.

It's not really an actual gameplay feature, but I think having customizable shortcuts for the level editor would be nice. Would be especially useful if you constantly change the grid size just like I do. World map events are also something I look forward to, because I really like the idea of having ...

Re: How do you disable object collision in the editor?

Click on the View tab, and untick the 'Collisions' box. Alternatively, you can also press F9, which is the shortcut for said command. Keep in mind that disabling object collisions only work right after you select an item, as you are still unable to directly place items on top of each other for whate...
