I'm using SMBX2b4.2.1. During a test, I only placed 1 in the room, collected it, then exited off screen. When I re-entered the level, it was still there, and my save data didn't add it to my Star Coin count.

Off-screen exits aren't updating Star Coins.

I noticed when I exit a level through an off-screen exit, the Star Coins I obtained in that level are no longer obtained.

You can set the priority of specific layers in parallax backgrounds, which affects draw priority but not their parallax depth. You're not setting the depth for any of these layers, so they're all trying to draw at the same depth. That's not an error, that's a warning. Warnings won't cause things to break too badly, but can be problematic if left unresolved, so they're worth paying attention to. Custom block-404.txt file causes game to crash.

I made a custom block-404.txt file for a lava block to increase it's light with this:

lightradius=128
lightflicker=true

I've tried using the "Test in SMBX (LunaDLL Required)" to test the game and in the old editor while making edits in the new editor and it seems to work out well, is that a safe option?

Rename onTick to onLoop. I forgot that old SMBX from the last 2.0 beta didn't have onTick yet. The code works for me. Alternatively update your LunaLua.
