That actually begs the question: Can custom lua flags be saved to be run on loading a level? Do you mean like the beta 4 config like npc extra settings, darkness and beat timer? I mean like triggering an event in one level that can significantly and permanently alter a completely different level. A...

For the Red Star, do you mean the actual powerup, or the Power Star that makes said powerup appear in the Observatory? The former would require edits to the actual game code to fix a part that's basically FUBAR'd, but the latter can probably be done in LUA if custom variables to transfer flags betwe...

Well, there was New Super Marisa Land, IIRC that was unofficial but I think it was made by the same team that did the fighting games.

I've read Waluigi being split off from Ninja Bomberman has been considered in the past (as has splitting Yoshi from Klonoa) though this probably won't happen as we're getting Touhou, Celeste and Shovel Knight reps, and the other deleted character had their filter block ID replaced with a generic fil...

I tried copying the if/else code in this thread and it worked. I tried adding more if checks and it didn't work, and even caused Luna.lua to not load ingame due to syntax errors. It kept expecting additional "end" commands at the end of the command, and when I added more in it kept thinking the end ...

Am I correct in saying there's no way to carry switch block or layer states between rooms and they'll automatically be reset on transition?

For a clean tutorial, force a point early on where Mario falls far enough to scream, but lands in water. Maybe.

The first one doesn't sound that hard to fix, but the other two might be borderline impossible given that adding new IDs for characters and powerups is impossible without the original game's source code...

Was making a level and found two bugs:
1. NPC 412 (Invisible item) is visible ingame.
2. If you put a potion in a block, you can't change what section it leads to (this originally occurred with a star block but it seems to be the case with all blocks)

In my experience, legacy autoscroll is virtually useless in SMBX2, and it's much better to use Luna.lua for stuff like that. Also, I've observed warps in PGE sometimes changing, but only if I save and reload when one doesn't have all available points placed. And even then, it just deletes said warp ...
